Silver Crown Thaler – Francis II – Vienna 1795 – Grade aEF

A silver Kronenthaler struck in 1795 at the Vienna Mint (mintmark A) during the reign of Francis II, the last Holy Roman Emperor and first Emperor of Austria.

The Kronenthaler was minted for circulation in the Habsburg Austrian Netherlands; its reverse bears the distinctive Burgundian Cross with three crowns and the Order of the Golden Fleece — symbols of the dynastic claims of the Habsburgs. The Vienna issue of 1795 is among the scarcer variants of the series. The coin's design is the work of engraver Théodore van Berckel.

Struck in silver Ag 873/1000, weighing 29.44 g with a diameter of 40 mm. An authentic Habsburg currency piece from the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries, well suited to collections of Habsburg coinage or as a distinguished historical specimen.

Grade aEF (-1/1-) — natural patina, sharp design details, uncleaned. Edge with inscription LEGE ET FIDE.

The coin will be dispatched promptly within 2–3 working days of payment being credited to the bank account, via registered post (fully insured) and delivery within the Czech Republic, Europe and America.
